Dix Family
The Dix family association with Olney RUFC goes back to the founding of the Club in 1877, five generations, in fact, on the paternal Dix side and players on the maternal Huckle side. Edgar played for the Club during the 1970s-80s.

Edgar’s Great Uncle Bill (William Dix) was Vice Captain of 1909 Team.
W Huckle and Arthur Huckle, the nephews of his Great Grandmother played for the Club and Arthur was capped for East Midlands team.
Len Dix was selected to play for East Midlands as well and went on to also become a Referee for the East Midlands Referees Union (EMRU).
